Permit is a certificate from the authorized sheikh to the delegated student that he read the entire Qur’an to him by heart with intonation and mastery of the narration or narrations that he authorized, and that he became qualified to read it and recite it as God Almighty revealed it, with the chain of transmission related to the Messenger of God, “may God bless him and grant him peace.”
